Hello dear reader..

It’s been a while since l wrote.

In the last two months l graduated ๐ŸŽ“ ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

In the last two months l hit the milestone age of 3๏ธโƒฃ0๏ธโƒฃ ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿฅณ

Anyway through all this God has been teaching me about unselfish love ๐Ÿ’•

I really began to ask myself do l love without a motive?

Are my actions reward motivated?

What is love?..

๐Ÿ‘†๐ŸพJohn 13:34 on the commentary section

Growing up l legit thought that love was an emotion.. The ๐ŸŽฅ movies ๐Ÿฟ l watched confirmed it.

But love is not a feeling, it is more of a decision ..It is unselfish concern.

It has nothing to do with you, it is about doing things that benefit the other ๐Ÿ˜ฎ .

To me that was a lot to take it,

l must admit l have been a little selfish at times๐Ÿ˜ฌ

But l decided that from now onwards l will be more intentional about loving God’s people.

No one has seen God at any time. But if we love one another [with unselfish concern], God abides in us, and His love [the love that is His essence abides in us and] is completed and perfected in us.โ€

1 John 4:12 AMP

What does it mean to love?

๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿพ1 Corinthians 13:4-8

To love is to be patient,

To love is to be kind,

To love is to protect,

To love is to always be hopeful,

To love is to trust

To love is to never give up ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

To love is to never lose faith

To love is to endure through every circumstance๐Ÿ˜ฎ

What love is not

Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice..

So here goes the challenge to love..

Not only love but to unselfishly love..

To be unselfishly concerned about others..

Just as God loved us in such an incredible way ..
