We need each other…

Granted, relationships are hard to maintain. People are bound to say and do things that get to us. But never allow yourself to believe that it’s better for you to isolate yourself from people, especially those that God has given you.

Isolation is an a trick of the enemy

There are times that l have found myself crying myself to sleep, stressing over things and never asking for help. Feeling alone yet l have such great people around me but l had believed a lie that l am better off alone.

The devil seeks to isolate you so that he can attack you and no one will be there to help you.

We have to pray for the ability to discern when the devil is at work in our relationships and in our minds. The devil is a liar he will whisper lies to you, that you are alone, that no one understands and there by putting a distance between you and your family, your friends and even your church brethren.

“A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated,

but two can stand back-to-back and conquer.

Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.

Ecclesiastes‬ ‭4:12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I have come to realise that the devil is busy, he seeks to isolate the hearts of children from their mothers, sisters from their brothers, husbands from their wives .

You find yourself suffering in silence yet you are surrounded by family and friends. People getting depressed, suicide rates are heart breaking, mostly because people won’t talk to each other.

If you’re feeling alone right now l want to encourage you that “God is with you”,

And if you’re overwhelmed and needing help find someone to help you.

In which relationships are you sensing a wage of distance? Do you find yourself constantly isolating yourself?

When you know the truth, you will recognise the lie.

I pray that this empowers you to fight for your relationships.

Much love 💖

Enriched relationships..

A few years back l heard a statement from my mentor that stuck with me “God protects us against our enemies, but He can’t protect us from our brothers” (The people that God has given you, your close family, your church brethren or anyone who has been placed into your life by God intentionally). I couldn’t understand it at first but recently l have come to understand it.

God gives us the responsibility to work out our relationships with those He gave us. It is up to us to forgive each other, to be truthful, to love, to respect , to honour ..

And God himself is our standard, our manual for how to relate to each other.”

If we but for one moment think of how we can improve the way we relate to each other, l believe the world would be a better place today.

So l ask, If you knew you had the power to make someone feel loved, feel secure, feel encouraged what would you do differently on a daily basis in order to enhance better relations?

How does God relate to us?

Here are some things l found out about how God encourages us to relate to Him and how He relates to us?

🔹He Loves and when God loves He gives. His love is strong as death, God sacrificed, something that He loved so deeply His Only Son- unselfish love.

🔸He is constant and unchanging, never Lies, God actually cannot lie, God

remains faithful and true to His word.

“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken and will He not make it good and fulfill it?”

NUMBERS‬ ‭23:19‬ ‭AMP‬‬

🔺God forgives, forever merciful, compassionate slow to anger, gracious and faithful.

Then the LORD passed by in front of him, and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth (faithfulness);”EXODUS‬ ‭34:6‬ ‭AMP‬‬

1️⃣We could talk of how God always hears us when we call, 2️⃣ How he is always with us3️⃣How absolutely trustworthy and dependable God is4️⃣How He has plans for us to prosper5️⃣ How much God wants to fellowship with us6️⃣How so deeply concerned about us He is7️⃣How God grants us so much grace, honour. Oh how he has blessed us so, even when we don’t deserve it.. 🙌🏻 His ways are so perfect.

God is the perfect example of how we should conduct ourselves in our relationships.

Let us get into the habit of thinking about how we can love better, encourage more, be there for each other, communicate to each other, forgiving one another and improving, adding to each other’s lives as God desires.

🙏Prayer

Father thank you for loving us, thank you for granting us the ability to have a relationship with you, Help us to make you the standard of how we relate to each other, so that your Name may be glorified, that we may be filled with so much of you and less of us. Thank you God for you are a God who is able.

May God enrich your relationships and give you people that will love you as He does.

I hope you are encouraged

Love ❤️
